I'm new to the area and stumbled across the course while driving around town to see what was what. I didn't think it was rated because it didn't have the info on the scorecard, but you never know.
As a newcomer, I have to say its one of the better 9-hole tracks I've played - even if I could do without a 220-yard par 3 to start my day
The greens are in great shape this spring and I was pleasantly surprised to see that you have to hit some shots in order to be successful. Many executive 9's I've played are pretty straightforward and don't require any shotmaking to make birdie or par.
I am curious - I saw the city tournament is played there. I'm not good enough to play tournament golf, but what do the top players usually come in at?
I figure if they don't start with three 3's on the scorecard at least, they're not happy.
